4 Reasons I stopped using Earthbreeze. And you should too.

I’ve been using Earthbreeze Laundry Sheets for almost 1 year! I recently learned a bunch of new information about Earthbreeze that convince me to STOP USING EARTHBREEZE immediately. In fact, I ended up throwing the product I had left into the trash. Here are 4 fact-based reasons I stopped using Earthbreeze Laundry Sheets:

1. Earthbreeze causes headaches.
2. Earthbreeze is Made in China.
3. Earthbreeze contains SLS (Sodium lauryl sulfate)–a gross & harsh chemical that causes dry skin & skin irritation.
4. Earthbreeze doesn’t clean & doesn’t remove stains.

1. Earthbreeze laundry sheets causes headaches.

Shortly after I started using Earthbreeze, I started getting headaches.  I didn’t know where they were coming from.  I thought they were coming from stress or the season changing from summer to fall. I now realize the headaches were coming from Earthbreeze!  And I realize now that I’m not alone, as there are a bunch of Earthbreeze Amazon reviews that also talk about getting headaches.

2. Earthbreeze is Made in China!

I don’t have anything against China.  But I do know that China has different manufacturing practices and standards than we do in the USA. For example, I read that in China KFC (yes, that Kentucky Fried Chicken!) will refry expired meat/chicken and sell it as new.  These lower manufacturing practices & standards lead to more risk of toxic chemicals, mislabeled products, low quality ingredients.

3. Earthbreeze has SLS, a known skin irritant!

I don’t know why but Earthbreeze has SLS which stands for Sodium lauryl sulfate.  This is a gross and harsh chemical that is a known skin irritant.  This skin irritant causes dry and itchy skin. I especially don’t like SLS being used in laundry detergent because laundry detergent stays in your clothes. And then you wear your clothes on your skin all day.  Meaning you are absorbing SLS onto your skin and into your body.  Surprise: Earthbreeze amazon reviews also show reports of people complaining about itchy and dry skin.

4. Earthbreeze does not clean!

Maybe this should be reason #1. A laundry detergent’s job is to clean your clothes! Earthbreeze is bad at cleaning — clothes still smell after washing and it’s not great at stain removal. As I mentioned, I was using Earthbreeze for about a year and my clothes kept getting dingier and my whites kept getting yellower.

I also looked up the amazon reviews and saw other people arriving at the same conclusion.

But I still love laundry sheets.

I stopped using Earthbreeze. But I still love using laundry sheets.
